Our pre-employment background investigation far exceeds that of most police department jurisdictions. In addition, EMASSL has employed a staff psychologist to oversee the initial screening of our personnel, by implementing a pre-employment written psychological inventory and a psychological interview. Furthermore, our personnel all submit to a battery of aptitude tests, a 5-panel drug screening, and extensive in-service training regarding criminal law and military defensive tactics. Prior to commencement of a contract with EMASSL we will provide you with the full applicant investigation of each proposed security officer.

EMASSL offers, free of charge, supervisory personnel to insure strict adherence to our general orders and your rules, regulations and ordinances. EMASSL supervisors are utilized as a liaison between EMASSL and our clients Supervisors are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days per year for your convenience and will regularly make sport checks to prevent the issue of complacency. It is our belief that in order to assure the best quality of service that we stand by, we must keep close relationships with our personnel both on and off duty.

At EMASSL, all of our security officers will be equipped with android phones for our unique mobile application technology which help our security guards to detect intruder point.

We also equip them with two-way radios or equivalent to ensure constant communication with our management team. Each and every security officer will be in-serviced regularly regarding your specific site to further enhance the protection we provide.

EMASSL has taken a unique approach to the business of contract security. Many of our competitors employ minimally screened and trained officers. Our approach involves a proactive theory of well-groomed, exceptionally trained, uniformed security officers to meet IOC standard. Our strategy entails several steps to mitigate the possibility and opportunity for theft of property vandalism or injury to persons within the facility.

EMASSL is ready to provide you with security system incorporating IOT technology, where sensors or tags are put in break points using special software and you get informed in real-time about incidents, while the guards take immediate action at the location, with alerts giving you information on position, date and time. With this technology you can seat in the comfort of your office, home even while driving and see which beats or Beacon that is being patrolled and manage/protect security guards and assets.

Applicant screening:

The Board of Directors at EMASSL has resolved to make the recruitment and training of our personnel the key to our success; besides having already trained ex-military men which we lead through specific security guard system of Nigerian Legion Corps of Commissionaire, we conduct hiring initiatives on a regular basis with over 50 applicants per month. Which currently we have 150 personnel employed with us.

Training:

EMASSL conducts training that exceeds that of any of our competitor’s programs. The knowledge of our management team is passed on to our new employees. In addition of the mandated certification course, EMASSL personnel must attend:

  1. 40-hour Military Defensive Tactics Training
  2. 24-hour Patrol Techniques & Criminal Law
  3. 16-hour Customer Service Seminar

Host Community Training:

Global terrorism, illegal oil bunkering and vandalization of pipe lines has become a harsh reality and a regular activity in today’s Niger Delta region in Nigeria, despite the huge financial cost on the government and multinational oil companies.  EMASSL has developed and implemented a specialized security guard programs to suit our client with this challenge. EMASSL will select from the host community, personnel who must pass through our applicant screening test for excellency. Thereafter, with our affiliation with Nigerian Merchant Navy and Nigerian Legion, their first training is Para-Military and Moral perfection led by the training Commander Merchant Navy Directorate. The second step is Surveillance and information gathering led by the Training Commander Nigerian Legion Corps of Commissionaire.

Leadership Training:

EMASSL will also conduct leadership programs/seminars for the new guards with Nigerian Legion in conjunction with International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS), which also certifies them.

EMASSL is willing and ready to demonstrate our capability by conducting a two months training of host community personal on ground.

Patrol:

The placement of our security officers is what generally places EMASSL in the position to confidently described the implementation of our security guards project as authentic. Our Security officers are trained to make visible foot patrols through their posts in undetermined pattern. We encourage our personnel to interact with your patrons and employees in addition to standing a fixed post.

Compliance:

EMASSL has developed a theory of “Enforcement through Reinforcement.” The management, having over thirty combined years of security and law enforcement experience, has realized that prevention of crime can be accomplished by utilizing innovative tactical technology approaches.

Uniform:

Our uniformed security officers are outfitted with military-type uniformed. Our corporate general orders, require that our personnel keep their uniforms pressed and clean at all times. Their shoes are polished; military-style and men are clean-shaven with neat haircuts. Our female officers are held to the same standard. We pride ourselves on the appearance of our personnel, as they are representing our agency in your facilities.

Supervision:

EMASSL supervisory personnel are required to possess a minimum of 7 years of law enforcement experience. Our supervisors are charged with scheduling, assigning security posts, and acting as liaison between the Board of Directors and our client. Supervisory personnel are available to you 24 hours every day in order to maintain quality assurance and customer service on behalf of EMASSL.

24 Hour Customer Service:

Our officers are staffed around the clock with customer service representatives for your convenience. While most of our competitors work from their homes, EMASSL staffs fully functional offices. Our customer service representatives are not salespeople; they are security professionals assigned to light duty or administrative functions. Desk personnel are utilized as watch-commanders with full authority to make supervisory decisions for EMASSL.

Cost:

EMASSL will provide you with a forensic breakdown of our costing specifications. EMASSL maintains a philosophy that in order to retain the highest quality security professionals in the industry, we must compensate them commensurate to their qualifications. The Board of Directors has resolved to reduce our profit margin rather than decrease a security officer’s salary. Our costing structure provides for a well-paid security professional and a conservative rate to our client.
